Founder Dominique Badji
“My goal is to provide soccer players with a unique opportunity that I could only dream of when I was growing up. The opportunity to train and gain knowledge from a professional soccer player, in a safe environment that fosters growth, development and success. I was once in their shoes, and I know what it takes to be successful at all levels.”
— Dominique Badji
Goalden Touch Soccer founder Dominique Badji is currently a forward for FC Cincinnati in the MLS (Major League Soccer). Dominique was born in Dakar, Senegal and has been playing soccer for as long as he can remember. At 16 years old he moved to the USA to attend Episcopal High School in Virginia before attending Boston University where he received many soccer accolades.
Upon graduating from Boston University, Badji was selected by the Colorado Rapids as the 67th overall selection during the 2015 MLS Draft. Since then he has played for the Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas, Nashville SC and, currently, FC Cincinnati.
Dominique’s soccer journey is a good example of the importance of the hard work and discipline required to achieve your dreams. You don’t have to be the most talented. You don’t have to be the biggest. You don’t have to be fastest. Are you willing to work hard, even on the days you don’t feel like it? Are you willing to keep trying even if you fail at first? Reaching your dreams will take hard work, it won’t be easy, but in the end it will be worth it.
